We are celebrating Independence Day weekend and our veterans’ service to our country with a Federalist Zinfandel sale. Normally priced at $27.99, we are offering it for only $17.99- save $!10. The Federalist is a fruity, spicy example of California Zinfandel that will accentuate your Fourth of July party. Chef Lenny says this Zinfandel will rock your bacon cheese burgers, ribs or just about any grilled meat. The Federalist Zinfandel brought home gold in the $25-$29.99 Zinfandel category at the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.
We selected the Federalist Zinfandel for our weekend sale not only because it is a kickin’ BBQ wine at discount. We chose the Federalist because they donate part of the proceeds from every bottle of Federalist Zinfandel sold to the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
The Federalist Visionary Zinfandel has partnered with the Veterans of Foreign Wars to support the Return the Favor program. The Return the Favor program raises funds to support soldiers, veterans and their families.
Operation Uplink provides prepaid phone time and sponsored “Free Call Days” to allow deployed troops and hospitalized veterans to connect with loved ones.
Unmet Needs provides a one-time only cash benefit for rent, mortgage, utilities, vehicle repair, medical expenses or food/basic assistance when financial hardship arises as a consequence of deployment.
Salute to Military Families creates VIP sporting and entertainment experiences for soldiers and veterans with two purposes. The first is to give soldiers much deserved R & R but these experiences also create public awareness to the needs of our veterans and inspire fundraising for Return the Favor.
