Woodslake Due Anni is our third featured wine for Washington Wine Month. Each day in March, we are offering free tasting all day on the featured wine at the tasting bar. In addition, for that day only, you will save 20% off on the featured wine.
This non-vintage wine is comprised of wine blended from two different vintages. The name Due Anni means two years in Italian.
Wine Beer Washington has been a fan of the Woodslake Due Anni for years.
“Due Anni means two years in Italian and each year John Patterson crafts this intriguing blend from the current vintage and the one prior. This year, the wine is composed of: 2008 31% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Syrah, 7% Merlot and 2009 22% Cabernet Franc, 15% Merlot, 14% Cabernet Sauvignon. This is an inexpensive wine that is multi-layered with fruit, spice and wood notes. An ideal food wine, the Due Anni is priced for weekday dinners and parties. ..This Washington wine has some complexity but is never pretentious.”
BUT, it is much more fun to taste the wine than to read about it! Come in the store any time today for a taste. Normally retailing for $14.99, we are offering it for 20% off on March 3rd. Buy today for only $11.99!
