Wine World is celebrating Bastille Day! Come in Saturday the 14th from 2-5 and try out awesome French wines and cheeses. We will have wines from all the major French regions including Burgundy, Bordeuax, Rhone, Alsace, Loire, and Southern France!
Gigi from Roquefort PAPILLON came into Wine World and told us a little about some of the cheese that we will have available for tasting.
From 5-7, Tieton Cider Works and Antolin Cellars will be in for tastings.
Tieton Cider Works will be at our tasting bar to share their selection of ciders! Their fresh pressed juice comes from apples grown in the Pacific Northwest. Knowing that not one single apple carried the necessary properties to make a truly complex and well-balanced cider, they blend American, English and French cider varieties with our organically grown dessert apples to capture the best of what each variety brings to the bottle: sweetness, acidity, tannin and aroma. The results are ciders with body and a depth of finish.
AntoLin Cellars a Yakima, Washington-based winery offering a boutique collection of expressive and note-worthy wines that are equally appealing in value. In 2007, founders Tony and Linda Haralson, a pharmacist and nurse in the Yakima community, turned their dreams of owning a winery into a reality after ten years of home winemaking. The couple sources Riesling, Viognier, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah from Glacier, their 5-acre estate vineyard, and other select sites in the Yakima and Columbia Valleys.
Come taste their 2010 Viognier and the 2009 Syrah.
Make sure to check out Bastille Whiskey 1789 while you’re here.
